Miranda Humphrey is a seasoned marketing and public relations professional with almost 20 years of communications experience. After starting out in journalism at a community newspaper, she worked in higher ed PR and marketing at a community college for 14 years before transitioning to school PR at the K-12 level. Currently, she is the Public Relations and Marketing Specialist for Albertville City Schools, a system home to almost 6,000 students and more than 600 employees.
She earned her Associate of Science degree from Snead State Community College and her Bachelor of Science degree from Athens State University. She will graduate will her master’s degree in Education from Athens State in the summer of 2023. She has been recognized for her accomplishments with awards from various associations throughout the country, and she currently serves as a Court Appointed Juvenile Advocate in Marshall County. In 2022, she was selected as a Women's Policy Institute Fellow by the Women's Foundation of Alabama and was named the Alabama Community College System Public Relations Association's Communicator of the Year. |
